Eos Energy Solutions is proud to introduce our three newest team members. We congratulate Andrew Richards on receiving his MS in Sustainable Design from Philadelphia University, as part of the inaugural class in this program.
Andrew Richards
Construction & Installation
Andrew Richards joined Eos' construction and installation team in June, 2009. He holds an MS in Sustainable Design from Philadelphia University and BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University. Prior to joining Eos, Andrew worked with a builder specializing in green redevelopment. He is a LEED Green Associate, Green Advantage certified, and a member of the Delaware Valley chapter of Emerging Green Builders. Committed to improving his environmental impact and global sustainability, Andrew is also a practicing urban farmer, with a substantial garden on his roof and aspirations to start a rooftop farming non-profit in Philadelphia.
Matt Tomeo
Logistics Manager
Matt Tomeo joined Eos in June 2009. He handles logistics control for Eos, including project tracking, permitting, interconnection, rebate submissions, and general support for installations. Matt is currently pursuing his M.S. in Sustainable Design at Philadelphia University, with a focus on the energy sector. He was previously a coordinator for the producer of an NBC prime time drama. Matt's volunteer activities include 11 years at an annual camp for youth with Spinal Bifida.
John Fox
Construction & Installation
John Fox joined Eos in August 2009, with experience working on dozens of solar installations and a number of commercial planted green roofs. Prior to his "blue and green" roof installation work, he worked in other green home building techniques including straw bale and timber frame, and was a member of an electrical team on a 1.5 MW wind farm in northeastern Pennsylvania. John studied business and biology at Albright College, and also served as teacher and counselor at The Family Foundation School for at-risk and troubled teens, where he taught science and Spanish, and guided students through 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
