Eos Joins Delegation to Harrisburg to Launch PA Rebates
On April 13th, four Eos representatives joined a delegation of Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association (MSEIA) members at the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) meeting in Harrisburg. The CFA is tasked with raising the bonds to fund the Pennsylvania Sunshine Program that was passed under Act 1 last July. With standing room only, a crowd of nearly 30 PA and NJ solar installers, integrators, financiers and other stakeholders attended the CFA meeting. These stakeholders were organized in support the CFA board's raising of $100M in bonds and approving guidelines for the PA Sunshine Program.

"Rebates bring down the cost of both solar PV and solar thermal systems and are the primary driving force needed to make solar more affordable for residents and businesses, at the same time creating many hundreds of direct green jobs," stated Ron Celentano, vice president of MSEIA. The CFA unanimously approved the bond money for the Sunshine Program, which is now expected to officially open in early May.
