Andrew Kleeman
Founder & Managing Partner

Andrew Kleeman, a passionate advocate of sustainability and re-urbanization, founded Eos in 2007. With a 28 year background in building sciences and investment real estate, Andrew now leads Mercury’s solar development efforts in Pennsylvania.

Andrew is a frequent public speaker on the necessity and value of solar power and taught related real estate classes at Temple University for more than a decade. He has served on Pennsylvania Governor Rendell's Solar Work Group, and is actively engaged in the several professional organizations supporting the solar industry's growth in Pennsylvania. He Andrew currently serves on the Board of Directors of Next American City.

Just prior to founding Eos, Andrew learned the industry in California with Ojai Solar, designing and installing commercial and residential PV Systems. Andrew has completed 80 hours of technical training in photovoltaics at the Florida Solar Energy Center, and at classes held by the Solar Energy Institute. He has passed certification examinations for initial credentials for NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners' Solar PV Installer Certification) and HERS. To date, Andrew has designed or overseen the development of more than a megawatt of solar power.

Formerly a partner and Vice President at the AMC Delancey Group, a national real estate investment and development company, Andrew has successfully managed energy efficiency issues at hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, and apartment houses. Andrew began his career as a principal at Kleeman Associates Inc., a real estate inspection and consulting firm that served both residential and commercial clients.

Andrew is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance (KEEA), the Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association (MSEIA), the Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) and the Greater Philadelphia Sustainable Business Network (SBN). He is a graduate of Philadelphia University.
